ARISE Equipment Support Scheme: Gov Eno Distributes Equipment and Vehicles to MSMEs
As part of efforts to empower Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Akwa Ibom, Governor Umo Eno has rolled out equipment and operational vehicles under the ARISE Equipment Support Scheme to boost productivity and economic growth in the state.
The initiative, designed to support local businesses, provides essential tools, machinery, and vehicles to enhance operational efficiency across various sectors, including agriculture, trade, and craftsmanship.
Speaking at the distribution event, Governor Eno reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to empowering entrepreneurs and small business owners, acknowledging their crucial role in driving the state’s economy.
He emphasized that the support scheme aligns with the ARISE Agenda, which prioritizes economic development, job creation, and improved livelihoods for citizens.
“This initiative is aimed at strengthening our MSMEs, ensuring they have the necessary resources to thrive. These small businesses are the backbone of our economy, and by providing them with equipment and vehicles, we are enabling them to scale up and contribute more to economic growth,” the governor stated.
Beneficiaries of the scheme, including traders, farmers, and artisans, received various tools, machinery, and vehicles tailored to their business needs. Governor Eno urged recipients to utilize the support wisely, ensuring sustainability and maximum impact.
He also reassured entrepreneurs that his administration would continue implementing policies and programs that create a conducive environment for businesses to flourish in Akwa Ibom.
