Don Peters appointed into National Transition Committee of NYCN
In recognition of his outstanding contributions to youth development and regional representation, Ezekiel Ezekiel Udofia, popularly known as Ezekiel Don Peters, has been appointed as a member of the National Transition Committee (NTC) of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), serving as the Representative of the South-South Zone.
This appointment was made during the Extraordinary National Management Meeting held in Abuja on August 7, 2025, convened to address and resolve the recent challenges hindering the smooth functioning of the Council.
The NTC is constituted for a maximum tenure of 60 days to pilot the affairs of the Council, restore stability, promote unity, and ensure transparent leadership processes during this transition period.
Mr Udofia was a former Vice President of the South South Zone of National Youth Council of Nigeria as at 2010. He is a Youth activist. His inclusion in the committee is a testament to his dedication to amplifying the voice of South-South youths, fostering inclusivity, and driving initiatives that will positively impact young people across Nigeria.
