Nsit Atai: Nyong Reaffirms Commitment To Infrastructural Development
The Chairman of Nsit Atai Local Government Area, Hon. Anthony Nyong, has reaffirmed their commitment to infrastructural development while prioritizing the needs of the people.
Making the assertion on Monday, March 10, during the foundation-laying for the perimeter fencing of the council secretariat, Odot, the Chairman emphasized the importance of securing the secretariat, as it would enhance the security and aesthetics of the Council Secretariat.
“Today, I am proud to lay the foundation for our Council Secretariat’s perimeter fencing. This project reflects our dedication to infrastructure and modern governance. It is just the beginning of our vision for Nsit Atai’s future, with more initiatives to come in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic empowerment. I urge the contractor to ensure timely and high-quality execution, as we intend to commission this project within one month.”
Hon. Anthony Nyong further assured the people of more developmental projects across the various wards as a testament to his administration’s resolve to improve the lives of Nsit Atai residents.
Speaking at the occasion Hon. Affiong Amanam, the vice chairman of the area who also serves as the Chairman of the Project Monitoring and Implementation Committee, commended the council helmsman for initiating the perimeter fencing project and other developmental initiatives.
Similarly, the Supervisor for Works, Hon. Emmanuel Okono, and Hon. Friday Simon, Chairman of the House Committee on Works, both praised the Chairman for fulfilling his campaign promises and prioritizing infrastructural development.
The event was attended by, the Members of the Legislative Council, Supervisory Councillors, directors, council staff, and other stakeholders.
